The county reports adoption of its data-center zoning amendment on September 10, 2024. Its overview describes noise, screening, design and setback standards, with by-right use in I-5 and I-6 only when the applicable standards are met, and special-exception review in other cases.
Fairfax County is separate from the independent City of Fairfax. General overviews do not establish a particular parcel permission or compliance. Later substation standards are a separate subject. Conflicting state bill numbers on the overview are not adopted as state legislation here.
