Air and generators

Georgia Environmental Protection Division issued air permit 4911-217-0080-S-01-0 for the VoltaGrid prime-power generation component serving ATL2 at 10835 Hazelbrand Road. The signed permit and agency narrative document a conditional air authorization, not verified operation, all local approvals or disposition of earlier construction allegations. The final agency addendum treats the two facilities as one air-permitting source while retaining separate equipment permits; this does not merge Atlas identities.

Record status: Resolved. Georgia Environmental Protection Division issued the named air permit. Resolved applies only to this permit action; the outcome of earlier construction allegations, actual operation and present compliance are not established.

The signed original permit cover and current agency registry identify September 18, 2026 as issuance. This is not an opening or all-permit completion date. The current registry labels an issuance date. A first public posting date for this permit or its evolving narrative is not established, so publication stays unknown.

Air and generators

Supreme Court of New Mexico recorded denial of New Energy Economy's mandamus request concerning the Project Jupiter air-permit proceeding and lifted its August stay. The order records that named court procedure without explanatory environmental findings. It does not establish an issued permit, actual emissions, present compliance or resolution of the separate county lawsuits.

Record status: Resolved. Supreme Court of New Mexico recorded denial of the named S-1-SC-41579 mandamus request and lifted its prior stay on September 17, 2026. Resolved applies only to that court procedure. No explanatory environmental merits findings, current permits, operational compliance or outcome of the distinct county cases were independently established.

AWS Scioto Darby Campus

Air and generators

City of Hilliard reported withdrawing its ERAC appeal of the air permit for AEP Ohio's natural-gas fuel cells serving the AWS Scioto Darby campus. The city described a carbon-dioxide modeling review and planned later monitoring while criticizing limited local review. This records the city's account, not a court merits ruling, measured air quality, all-pollutant safety finding or AWS diesel-generator permit.

Record status: Withdrawn. City of Hilliard reported withdrawing its own ERAC appeal. This is the city's published account, not a retained commission dismissal order, permit revocation, decision on alleged effects or proof of facility operation.

The exact disposition date is not established in the retained city announcement. Its September 15 publication date is separate from an ERAC withdrawal filing day.

The city reports a November 2025 appeal filing and a later withdrawal, but the exact filing and disposition days are not established in the retained announcements. The city release displays September 15, 2026 and the retained original JSON-LD gives that publication day. The identity-context release is dated October 21, 2025. Neither is a substitute for an unverified ERAC filing day.

Western Mass News reported residents' water, air-quality and health concerns, alongside public support, at a Westfield meeting about Servistar Realties' proposed data center. The report says the developer requested a permit extension. These are outlet accounts, not measured impacts or a verified approval of that request.

Nebraska · Latest recorded activity:

Noise · Water use · Land use and zoning

Residents requested limits on data-center growth and further noise, water and setback rules during Hallam's September 14 board meeting, as recorded in the village minutes. The discussion specifically addressed Monolith and Crusoe's Olive Creek proposal. Later planning minutes record company commitments, while Nebraska Public Media reported a subsequent special-use approval. Those steps do not establish that every concern was resolved.

Record status: Unknown. The current outcome of the residents' requested growth limits and underlying concerns is unknown in this bounded review. Read record

Noise · Light · Water use · Power and electric rates · Traffic and construction · Land use and zoning

Wisconsin Public Radio reported water, electricity, noise and transmission-route questions at a September 10, 2026 community event for Port Washington's Lighthouse campus. Earlier reporting described construction-noise, light and traffic complaints and a city-announced hours change. These are outlet accounts, not measured impacts, a formal complaint case or proof that every concern was resolved.

WVPE reported South Bend council questions about the composition of wastewater from an Amazon data center sent to the city's treatment plant. This records an outlet account of public questions. It does not establish the exact originating campus, contaminant levels, a discharge violation or a current permit outcome.

Interior Board of Land Appeals issued a September 1, 2026 stay of the federal Townsite data-center decision, consolidating Boulder City's and the environmental groups' appeals and expediting further review. The groups raised environmental-review, water, air and habitat concerns. The stay is an interim procedural ruling, not a final merits judgment or measured environmental finding.

Record status: Unknown. The current merits disposition is unknown in this bounded review. The September 1 order grants a stay and expedited consolidated review. About this information

What public sources record about data center concerns, with the original attribution, dates and limits.

Counts describe documentation, not harm or severity. Coverage is incomplete. A missing item does not establish that no concern was raised. A resolved procedural petition does not resolve the underlying allegations.

Newest recorded activity first, using the latest known event, disposition, item-source publication or verified company-response publication date. A source-check date never moves an item up the list. Unknown activity dates are excluded when a date range is selected.

How this is tracked.

Each item is individually checked against its public source and an existing Atlas site, campus, project or exact county ID. Event, source publication, disposition and source-check dates stay separate. Unknown dates and outcomes stay unknown. Private residents speaking publicly are labeled Residents; private residents' names are not printed.

Regulator record
An agency-published inspection finding, notice, order or penalty.
Permit and comment
A permit record, public comment period or hearing notice. A notice does not establish approval.
Formal complaint
An agency-published complaint record or count, distinct from a violation finding.
Legal action
A filed action, appeal or notice of intent. Allegations and procedural rulings retain their own scope.
Public concern on the record
Public testimony, a group statement, petition, resolution or recorded letter.
News report
A reported concern attributed to the named outlet, distinct from an agency finding.

The Atlas attributes statements and does not decide who is right. Verified published company responses appear beside the item they address, with their publication basis and relationship to the record. No verified response does not establish refusal. Category counts can overlap and are never a severity ranking.

Open, pending and unknown items require a source recheck within 120 days. The due date does not advance because the website is rebuilt. County-wide items do not create site findings or map pins. The optional neutral Concerns map layer is off by default.
